EAGLE RST exhaust systems
feature large 3" diameter mufflers constructed with
Eagle´s EAGLE RST (Reduced Exhaust Sound TECHnology)
patent pending. Using EAGLE RST muffler cartridges to
reduce exhaust sound to an acceptable level, they maintain
good aftermarket performance. EAGLE RST’s are our
lowest sound exhaust systems.
A new industry standard! By using a large volume, extra
long design with multiple layers, Eagle´s EAGLE
RST 3” Drag Pipes with “Reduced Exhaust Sound
TEChnology” are able keep sound levels lower. EAGLE
RST muffler cartridges were developed from Eagle`s unwavering
passion to create the lowest / highest ratio exhaust systems
in the motorcycle industry. EAGLE RST muffler cartridge
systems reduce both high frequency and low frequency sound
waves. EAGLE RST cartridges were to be superior to all
others.
Our mission was to invent a muffler system that had
the lowest sound yet retained the highest power in every
measurable facet of performance. The end result of our
work had to be clearly observable as better than any
muffler system used in the past, by motorcycle riders
around the world. Our R&D team genuinely exceeded
our goals. We honestly feel that this is the best muffler
system on the market today.
How are they different? EAGLE RST cartridges are different
from other motorcycle muffler systems on the market.
Until now most V-twin exhaust systems on the market
use a plain spiral louvered core, about 8" to 10"
long, with no other silencing method. This spiral louvered
core is installed into a very small low volume pipe.
This style of muffler only helps reduce exhaust sound
by a very limited amount. Most of these pipes range
from LOUD to ANNOYING!
What is a EAGLE RST cartridge? First, we use the largest
diameter muffler body on the market. Next, we use the
absolutely longest muffler possible. However using a
large volume muffler is only the first step. The EAGLE
RST cartridge is about 3 times longer than most contemporary
mufflers.
We then thoroughly tested all of the louvered baffle
and perforated core designs available. We went with
the lowest sound/ highest power ratio combination that
we could find. Then we use, multiple layers of several
sound absorbing materials, tightly wrapped around the
EAGLE RST core and compressed into a lightweight extremely
thin wall tube. Finally we seal the unit together. This
is the "cartridge".
In the past, you compromised either sound or performance.
Now with EAGLE RST muffler systems you can have the
best of both worlds. Only EAGLE RST (Reduced Exhaust
Sound TECHnology) cartridges will enable you to have
a high performance / reduced sound exhaust system.
